When the course over books, or lets anybody play. (LSU & City Park mainly) I will never play another round at city park. It is so god awful shitty.

Last Saturday I had a tee time of 11:20. There was a tournament on this course until 1 or so. I was so ticked I wasn't told there was going to be a tournament. Waited 40 minutes to tee off and on the very first green a guy hit his tee shot from hole 2 on it. He proceeded to come over and swing his hybrid from the green. We were too shocked to say a word.

Had to be city park. Haven't heard of to many courses that will book a tee time when a tournament is being held that very day, outside of city park.

I saw a guy last weekend drive his fricking cart on the green. He was in his 30's and had no disabilities. Had his two kids with him and just pulled right up on the green. I just stood there with my mouth open for a minute staring at them

I got more.
No beer wenches
Slow play, of course
Book a tee time, and show up, greens are aerated.
Cart path only, of course.
Weekend twosomes before noon, that are on your arse all day.
Marshall's that are pricks. You know em, even if you haven't done anything wrong.
New guy to your game and claims he's a 10 hadcp., and can't break 90.

The guy who rides alone (has his own cart) and all of his tee shots are on the edge of the fairway, even the ones you saw go into the woods or water! He takes off from the tee box like a drag racer and goes straight for his ball, even if his is the longest and someone else is in the rough and needs help locating it.

We have "this guy" in our group. The running joke is that he is still playing Titleist ballata's b/c he hasn't lost a ball since 95'. Dude will literally hit driver off the tee and we'll watch it go up and over the trees on the left side of the fairway which is OB, yet miraculously everytime his ball is either on the edge of the fairway or just in the rough. He is the only guy we make mark the ball(and in some cases, mark it for him) and is no longer included on any wagers unless someone is riding in the cart with him and verifies the marking on the ball.

People who read putts from both sides of the hole
People who re-mark their ball on putts they are cleaning up
Slow play. Be ready to hit when it's your turn

I welcome these folks. easy money. I would rather this than the guy who claims he is a 10 and then proceeds to shoot 71.

IMO neither of the above constitues slow play. If you're not going to take the time to line up your putts then WTF is the point of keeping your score???

I routinely read putts from both sides if there is any doubt. there are ways to do this quickly, like start doing it as soon as you walk to the green and as long as you aren't in the person putting's line of sight, go ahead and be looking while others are putting.
People have their heads in the clouds far too often and that is what makes it slow. some guys do everything slow.

What is your handicap? If those 2 piss you off, you can't be that good.

You don't need to look at your putt from both sides of the hole.
Marking your ball from 2 feet away when you are finishing your putt is douchey. Just knock it in.

When I was playing a lot it was +1.
In the system right now @ 2.2 but I never really keep up with it

Uhhh, don't necessarily agree with this statement. But there is a way to do this without slowing down play. Now some players could look at it from 4 angles and it wouldn't matter because they are poor putters

dude...
I look at putts from the front/back and the side. While you don't have to do it, trust me when I tell you it helps. And fwiw, I'm not a slow player.

Even though last time I played SM on a Friday, it seemed like nothing but 5somes
