How old are the people arguing Duncan over Jordan? This is such a garbage argument.

It's only one guy. And he might be TIm Duncan. It's the only logical explanation.

OP ....when you realize that you're in a hole , it's best to stop digging!

You are indeed correct. I bookmarked it.
In fact, I am now up to 12 really stupid MSB OPs. I will release them all in the first MSB stupid Hall of Fame, but I still have to decide how many make the cut.

Stupidity of the original premise aside, mad props to Duncan for putting up a 28-12 tonight. Against Marc Gasol too. He is still very very good

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see the Spurs and Lakers go at it one more time for the western conf finals. Those were some of the best playoff series I can remember watching.

I just don't think Duncan will ever be greater than any of these players no matter how many rings he wins:
Jordan
Russell
Kareem
Wilt
Magic
After those five, I can live with Duncan being as high as 6th on the all-time list but those five players were clearly on another level.

I don't care for the Spurs, but I have a ton of respect for Tim Duncan. That said, no way is he the GOAT with another title. One of the best, no doubt, but not GOAT.

Not gonna happen and no, Tim Duncan isnt the goat.

Kareem was obviously awesome but nothing he did after the merger was good enough to put him above Tim Duncan

What kind of qualifications do you need to become an NFL commissioner?
Can someone explain to me why Oregon is playing for the PAC12 over Stanford?

no flame. he's just not the greatest of all time.
he has had some great players with him.
I doubt they would have done all that well vs some Laker and Celtic teams of yore. Both had enough inside power to deal with both the admiral and timmie at the same time on the court.
The greatest team of all time was a Phila 76er team with several premier players including Wilt, pf Jackson and 6th man Cunningham.
I doubt spurs would be champs in those eras.
