My problem with this is that they have KIDS out there that will try them and be like the PRO athletes they idolize... That is not a good thing IMO.

for the kids is the worst argument against something. As if the "kids" won't figure it out anyway.

BTW who cares that Pete Rose bet on baseball... He should be in the HOF....

this is apples and oranges on top of being different sports.

Why shouldn't he use everything available to him to fix his neck and get back onto the field?

Is it OK to use "illegal" medications to improve your performance, but not to let some air out of the football?

So why isn't Barry Bonds in the HOF if nobody cares?????

The thing about Bonds is that if he had retired in 2000 before he started juicing, he would have a been a slamdunk HoFer. He didn't need the juice at all. He did it out of envy, pride, and greed. He should have retired at the end of 2000, and enjoyed his millions and the fact that he was a 3-time MVP and a first ballot HoFer and one of the top 10 players of his generation regardless of his generation. But no, he had penis envy for Sosa and McGwire.

As for Manning, yeah this is all bullshite. Al-Jazeera is chasing wind to make a name for themselves.

I bet a lot of players take gh. It's damn near undetectable. Unless you get the blood sample within 30 minutes of ejection, it's gone.
