Taylor Swift is not human. She’s a walking brand, no more than a marketing campaign. Just like Dwayne The Rock Johnson. EVERY move of hers is heavily planned and calculated by her PR team to try to maximize exposure, money-making opportunity, etc. Nothing genuine about her at all. A full-blown capitalist who the NFL is more than happy to partner with.

He will likely get a good divorce settlement even with the prenup. Worth it imo

She's a billionaire and one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. His career has skyrocketed because of her. What a silly statement

Good for them.
With that, glad I quit watching the NFL years ago. KC is pretty much guaranteed another SB trip this year now, and likely a SB win if Kelce decides to retire. If he doesn't retire this year, then that will be another SB appearance/likely victory whatever year that happens.

This is exactly correct. This is so calculated and planned by a team of PR and business people.
The sports media is running head first into this for a reason...this is a FEMALE oriented marketing campaign.
ESPN...the same website that pummels its viewers with WNBA content is EXPLODING at this news....WOMEN AUDIENCE WOMEN VIEWERS.
Thats what they want....feminize athletics for women.

So what is her popularity with males? Of course the NFL is insanely better with male audiences.
I mean, simply dragging her out in front of a bunch of dudes who are interested in watching football probably isn't going to make her more popular with that segment in any meaningful way.
EDIT: not saying this wasn’t calculated for “exposure” or whatever, probably was but it likely irritates just as many football fans as they “win over”.

Shes on the front page of ESPN. Are there really that many Travis Kelce fans?
ESPN and the sports media want the Swiftie audience as the Gen Z enthusiasm dies compared to millennials.
Sports media is DESPERATE for this. Stop being obtuse. This is so astroturfed its not even funny.

1st week of football season with a holiday weekend and this is what you post?
Posted on 8/26/25 at 2:11 pm to TechDawg2007
Hopefully, Kelce gets some green dildos thrown at him during road games.

Goodell is absolutely loving this news.

Obviously, but that’s not what you’re saying in the post I replied to.
You seemed to be implying that she needed the exposure in the “sports world”, which isn’t true. Even if it was, plastering her all over sports media isn’t going to create more Taylor Swift fans. That’s my point.
This is all about ESPN wanting to be associated with her, not the other way around.
