I think it’s between Lamar, Barkley and Allen.

I think Lamar gets hurt by voter fatigue and Derrick Henry being on the team.

If Barkley passes Dickerson’s record, he has a good shot at it. If not and Josh Allen doesn’t have a terrible game the next two weeks, I think it’s his to lose.

The Bills have the 23rd ranked defense in the nfl and the following are the top 3 WRs

Shakir
Rookie Coleman
Mack Hollins

That’s pretty shite “help” for Allen Yet bills are 12-3

Also last year Allen had 53 TDs to Lamar’s 29 tds

So you are saying when the Bengals are good its bc of Joe but when they dont make the playoffs its not his fault.

I’m saying the Bengals offense has been elite this year and their defense has been one of the worst units in the NFL. Statistically those are facts. Now, if you want try to make stupid arguments about a team’s record being at the feet of one player, knock yourself out

We arent giving the award based on what Joe did 3 years ago. We are talking about this year. Daniels has been more impressive.

I don’t know why people insist on saying things they don’t believe to troll strangers on the internet

But I’ll bite. Let’s just ignore every statistical metric that we use to judge QBs and only look at team overall record. That’s the only way your statement makes sense.

Burrow is having the best season of his career, yes better than the years he’s been to the AFC title game

AFC East is a little weaker than the North.

Except the bills have the 9th SOS and the bengals have the 31st….Bengals have played pretty much the easiest schedule in the nfl

Based on preseason metrics, when people thought the Jets and Dolphins would be good and Steelers would suck.

No, based on current metrics and team standings

And as of this morning bengals are now actually at the 32nd ranked SOS….Literally the easiest schedule in the nfl

This is why Josh is the favorite. Lamar didn’t deserve it last year and the media is trying to make up for that mistake. Rodgers won back to back MVP’s only 3 years ago. They have no problem giving the award to the same player in consecutive seasons.

Lamar is having an incredible season. And as a noted Lamar hater that pains me to say. Lamar is having the better season than Josh and would be running away with this years vote if he was not been gifted the award last year.

Look I think burrow is awesome and deserving of mvp, but the bulllshit that gets thrown around with him here is nauseating

He had a very easy schedule and has the best offensive weapons in the nfl for putting up stats.

I'm on record in this thread that I don't think Burrow should be MVP.

That's because the Bills like to spam Allen running the ball near the goal line while the Ravens prefer to give the ball to their RB near the goal line and the fact that Allen had 122 more pass attempts. Lamar actually had a higher TD% than Allen last year. Allen had seven rushing TDs inside the two-yard line while Lamar had none. Lamar's yards per attempt, adjusted yards per attempt, net yards per attempt and QB rating was significantly higher than Allen's. Lamar even had a higher completion percentage than Allen. If any QB was robbed last year, it was Purdy not Allen.

Off topic… but that 2018 first round QB class coming around with Darnold and Baker becoming serviceable… it’s clear now Lamar and Josh should have been 1 and 2 (Browns and Giants) in that draft… Josh Rosen with 10 and was traded at the end of the year

Allen is a better short yardage runner, and Jackson is a better open field runner. Neither is necessarily more or less valuable.

The Ravens offense is slower-paced, while the Bills are faster-paced. Again, doesn't make one more or less valuable. They're both elite in the systems they run.

One could argue that more usage is evidence of more value.

Bills division opponents

14-31

Ravens division opponents

20-26

It's pretty close between the east and the afc south for worst division in football. The Ravens play in a far more competitive division than the Bills

I’d rather Josh Allen get it but I put some change down on Lamar at +900 a few weeks ago. Seemed like easy money
