St. Amant wins game 1 4-0.

Dutchtown has to win two. And Austin Bain is done.

Dutchtown is in trouble.

As we head to the State Baseball Tournament in Sulphur this weekend, are there any top uncommitted players on any of the teams that could somehow make it to the LSU program?

I understand the brackets aren't quite there yet. But the non-5A teams with one and done rounds usually have good pitchers they ride all the way to the tourney.

I saw that pitcher Hunter Van Horn isn't coming to LSU anymore (MOT took him off the list of commitments on 5/10, not on TigerRag either). Since he probably had a scholarship, does that free one up to replace his arm? And Mac Marshall is not a certainty to show up on campus per the draft.

Just wondering because many of the state's best players will be in Sulphur....
