STM beats EDW 5-4 to force deciding game 3.

EDW loaded the bases with 2 out in bottom of 7 but could not score.

Great series so far. Two games decided by 1 run. A very good team will be out with a loss Sunday.

ETA: LHSAA bracket shows Game 3 at 4 PM Sunday. I guess they are expecting rain and want field to be as dry as possible.

I’ll be surprised if any games are played at all in the Baton Rouge area today. The forecasts I keep seeing show for 80%-90% chance of rain from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Pearl River came from behind to beat Breaux Bridge.

Two great coaches going at it.

Now they’ve changed the WM/Zachary game to 5pm start and game 3 if necessary to immediately follow at 8pm.

Ok so for what it’s worth I just walked over to the stadium parking for jazzfest and the groundskeeper says the outfield is a lake and they aren’t playing today at all.

Pretty sure Holy Cross/Catholic game is in BR.

Maybe I’m wrong

Unless they moved Jazz Fest to Baton Rouge

Yep. Higher seed always hosts in baseball, and Catholic is No. 1
