2 OCS parents got thrown out of game when they played Sterlington. Very trashy.

I was part of that program for many years and never once saw that type of action. Everyone knew if you acted that way, Harper would handle you no matter who you were.

We had a rule every year playing under the OCS name, If you wouldn't say it with Harper or Fitz here, don't say it when they aren't!

Very friendly rivalry. Now it depends on the year but St Freds and Oak Grove vs OCS can get interesting..

We went to OG one year (2011 or 2012) for playoffs in football and my kid (Jr High)and a buddy walked into a store, when they walked to the counter with their OCS shirts, the person behind the counter helped every other person in line before checking them out. The funniest part was his buddies parents were from OG and had gone to High School with that person. When they saw the buddies Mom, they rolled their eyes in disgust.

And this is the biggest issue with having all the tourney games at the same location on the same weekend. Rain will make it difficult this weekend.

rain would make it difficult anywhere in LA this weekend except the superdome.

This is true but you could Atleast have more facilities to use and get games in quicker.

It’s gonna be hell trying to get all these games in with teams from all 48 divisions.

I've been arguing this with a few people for a few years now. Now lets see how they screw over teams to fit it into the weekend.

my guess is everything rolls back to sunday/monday... with compressed times.

not one field in BR would be playable today or tomorrow at this point - even the all turf fields

They shouldn’t have started games today. You have guys pitching their ace and now you have to shut them down after 40 pitches. Even if they play tomorrow you aren’t likely to get the aces best stuff now.

Could they play the 5A semis at the respective higher seeds? Barbe/Sam Houston?

Mother’s Day will probably be a big no no. You can’t hold fans/teams to rooms for 4-6 days

Tournament postponed until further notice.
My guess is they will likely send teams home.
No reason for these teams to incur long hotel stays.
It's not cheap.
Statement coming before 7 tonight about future of tournament from LHSAA.

Considering the situation, it would make a ton of sense to do this for 5A and especially D1, all SE Louisiana teams.

Hell, in the interest of keeping it “Neutral” switch sites. Send Barbe/WM to Sam Houston and Sam Houston/Parkway to Barbe.

my prediction... See ya next weekend

Which is good. Texas still has a month more to play... No reason why we HAVE to end the first weekend of May.

Any semifinals not yet played probably will early next week at the higher seed. Finals might be back in Sulphur or at the higher seed on the weekend
