That’s definitely the matchup i circled when the brackets came out. WM scores as many runs as anyone in the state on average. So in a 1 game format, they’re capable of winning against anyone. That series is a tough draw.

WM going to be in trouble if they have to go to Zachary. Not enough arms to win a 2 out of 3 series

You misspelled EA

Does Zachary have a 3rd arm behind Hall and Farr?

WM couldn't score on 3A Sterlington. Anyone that can pitch or coach that can call a game, WM done. JJ delusional

It's at Zachary, correct? That is a big plus for Zachary. EA is a sneaky team. Zachary definitely has more talent but if they aren't focused, EA might be able to scratch out 2. I would bet on it going 3 games, but if I had to put cash on a series winner, I'd go with ZHS.

Both coaches are hot headed but I think Fisher has just enough control to stay focused and actually within the park.

In the stands, ZHS gets the nod. Those fans are loud (and that's as much as I'll say). EA fans tend to be a little quieter and, well, under control.

I assume at Zachary since they are the higher seed.

Should be a good matchup. Good chance Hall can win his game, good chance Foote wins his game (unless they face off against each other). Rubber match cones down to who can throw strikes and minimize mistakes. When you look at EA, remember they lost 7 one run games early on including a 17-16 loss to WM. They will be scrappy and have been in tough games down to the wire.

You have a lot of knowledge about different teams. I was just assuming you were a Lafayette High fan or coach.

What do you think about Live Oak vs Acadiana?

I think this may be another 3 game series. Palermo has been good for LO this year. After him I believe they're very young do there's a chance Acadiana can pressure the Eagle's young pitchers to make mistakes. Live Oak can hit the deep ball and you never know when Cassard will insert the small ball game. I haven't watched Acadiana so I'm not as familiar with them.
