You’re right, most of the time. There were multiple last night that were indeed egregiously incorrect.

Neville has two D1 guys at SS. If anyone is built to stop Barbe, it’s them. Neville’s defense is much better than Ruston’s.

Yes...Neville's dline is the strongest part of the team. They are really difficult to run on. Should be a fun one.....

Like I said, if Zeland is on, we have some different things that we can do. If he’s dropping passes (which has hurt us several times this year) we are in trouble.

Fixed, though yours was also correct.

Curious to see if Neville will have the firepower on offense to stay in the game.

Where did Barbe show you they had some great defense? Parker will be the best QB you’ve faced all year. That kid can sling it. Not sure who covers 13, so I’m sure you’ll bracket him. Neville will score. Not saying Barbe can’t win, but Neville will score.

This is a joke, right? If not, you haven't paid attention this year...at all. Neville can pass and run. They will score plenty. They can be spurty....especially with a big lead. (This happened at St. Thomas Moore.....had game in hand...went completely conservative and gave it away. Absolutely dominated Ruston....until 7 minutes left in the 4th. Again...played not to lose.) Hopefully they have learned from that....but....the teams who beat them got down early.....and then came back while Neville stopped playing. (Not an ideal strategy....but it has worked in the past.) They also suck at recovering onside kicks. They are like 3-7.....so....kicking onside to them isnt a bad strategy.....

Great defense? Not yet. Much improved? Yes. Barbe just has to score one more point than Neville. Highly possible.

Crazy thing in ALL. The games I’ve officiated I have never known or even thought an official cared who won or lost.

I don’t think it’s malice as much as ineptitude. To err is human.

Highly possible.
ASH played a crap game against Neville but Neville was really good in all phases. That is tough to beat.

Neville is a good all around team, no denying that. Their offense may need 40+ this week, that is what I question. Not sure they are built for a shootout, Barbe is going to put up points on the scoreboard. THAT is highly likely.

I’ve done everything from ball boy, player, coach, officiate, scout, coach again , parent and officiate again and I’ve never had a perfect game at any.

Once again, West Monroe fell behind early in the game, 21-0.
Same thing with the Neville and Ruston games.
Games that 'should' have been won by WM. It's hard to win games like that when playing good teams.
Give Barbe a lot of credit. Their RB was fantastic, and their QB made a lot of plays when it counted. They were the better team.
The WM defense this year was decent but no ways elite championship caliber.
Way too missed tackles, too many times out of position and little speed on defense.
Lack of in-game adjustments by the WM coaches, especially on defense. Several of those have been in the WM program for years so those coaches should know.
The WM strength and conditioning program has gone downhill. It used to be one of the best in the state.
The WM defenses used to strike fear in the other team's offense.
This was a senior laden team. Lots of the WM starters will graduate.
Will WM reload and will they rebuild?
Coach Dizer deserves a lot of credit of bringing back some excitement back to Rebel Stadium.
Lots of work ahead for the WM football program. The potential is there, the foundation at WM is still strong.

As a head softball coach that was the final Tiebreaker for us many years too... thankfully never had to flip coins to determine the final playoff spot.
One time, back when 3 teams made the playoffs, we had a 3 way tie for 2nd... we all split with each other, total runs etc were the same. In our flip, we were doing that for seeding a district tournament to be played in one day with weather issues. The winner of the flip automatically finished 2nd in district & the other two played one game to determine 3rd. I luckily won the first flip, so we were in.
