jesuit gets the 2 pt conversion on a quick hurry up snap.
cameron dobbins rolls out and keeps it
29-28 jesuit, 9 seconds left

Did the Jesuit coach have a pre LSU-Bama party to go to?

Congratulations to the 10-0 Jesuit Blue Jays! First undefeated season since 1960.

can't believe we didn't go undefeated in 1997. Let down loss to De La Salle last week of season after huge win over nationally ranked Shaw the week before.

I was there...it was an insanely windy night at Tad Gormley. Jesuit passing game was stalled while Brandon Butler (future Miss. State WR) ran around making plays at QB. Best DLS team in recent memory.

yup, DLS had a great passing attack back then. We had a couple red zone turnovers also. One time going into the endzone, the ball was fumbled and a touchback resulted.

I was a freshman at LSU that season (graduated in 1997), and I specifically came back to that game anticipating the undefeated season and watched them lose to De La Salle.
I don't follow high school football much, so does this team have a legit shot at getting to the dome? Or is it going to be the usual quaterfinal/semifinal run, then run into West Monroe and get shellacked story?

Congrats Blue Jays
I could remember that DLS squad... Didn't they have quite a few studs: QB, RB, & 2 300lb DE(1 went to the NFL)

busbeepbeep, it was definitely a Murphy's Law night for the Blue Jays.

I just found my "Be the Hammer, Not the Nail" Shirt at my parent's house. Great times in 1997. Although, I think our best chance to get to the Dome was in 1996 when we faced Carencro in the Semi-Finals.
Congrats to this year's team!
