I’m not throw kids under the bus like that. But I can think of at least 5 in last decade - that played easier schedules than what Bears played (in relation to their class)

Hudson Fuller has been rough. He’s definitely not the same level of coach as the few guys before him.

Damn. He won a ship last year. Y’all ready to run him off already.

I nominate Plain Dealing. They haven’t won a game since 2021.

Pickering hasn't won a game since 11/2020.

Edit: I lied, they won a game this year...against Gueydan lol

2023 Gueydan schedule

ACHS 2-8
N. Central 1-9
CPHS 3-8
EBHS 6-5
Basile 5-6
Elton 6-4
Beekman 6-3
Hamilton 4-7
Oberlin 8-3
Merryville 3-7

Some real powerhouses right there.

When you’re at the bottom, everyone you play is a powerhouse to be fair

Plus, Gueydan is in the middle of nowhere and probably not much talent brewing there

It’s not they can play anyone in a smaller class which is what really bad teams from bigger classes do.

They 4 running clock games,

The other 5 I am referring to all has 6 plus running clock games - even against teams 2 and 3 classes smaller.

Also max preps ain’t always accurate

The point I was making was explaining why their schedule was front loaded with so many tough teams from around the state and the area

My point is also good teams play tough schedules before district because nobody wants to schedule them
