i take St. Thomas More and Acadiana by 2 TDs over any of these teams

You could throw Breaux Bridge in as well...pretty shitty top 10 IMO

the first 6 teams are pretty good. After that the rest suck. Chalmette prob wont win a district game.

Newman blows this year anyway. I hate saying it but they sorely miss Odell they don't have a playmaler

BB has more talent than pretty much every team on that list.

Lafayette area top 5 in 4-a and 5-a IMHO are

1:STM
2:Carencro
3:Acadiana
4: Breaux Bridge
5: Westgate

This top 5 right here I'd put up against any area in the state. I feel like Westgate will be better as they have had a really tough schedule and could end up winning out and going on a run in the playoffs. They have played John Curtis , STM and Breaux Bridge so their 1-3 record is very deceiving. Their game against new Iberia will probably be for the district title. Id bet money that 2 of these teams will make the finals. Atleast 2.

East St John played Curtis much, much, much tougher than Westgate did. They are 6th on the NOLA metro rankings. Just saying.

Curtis is the best team in the state in any class, fwiw.

Carencro beat ESJ 35-7, and it wasn't even that close. Obviously if Curtis was that good then why'd they struggle against ESJ? Acadiana on the other hand, while losing to St Paul, showed me that they could be a lot better than I thought they were. I mean sitting there with a chance to beat a really good team and barring a total meltdown, would have won. After losing 15 players, I didn't know how good they would be. And make no mistake, St Pauls is a very good team. But if they met up again I'd have no doubt that Acadiana could win that game. I think the loss will actually make them a better team come playoff time. Realistically, I could see any of the top 4 in Lafayette in the finals.

they didnt struggle, per se. They just played them better than Westgate.

st pauls is one of the top 3-4 teams.

It's good to see Carencro on the rise again... I could remember them whipping us pretty good my frosh year '92 Qtrs(We rushed close to 400yds per game prior)... They brought down Kevin Faulk, one of the best kickers EVER, & 20 degree weather, LOL!

Both teams in the night cap game after Curtis/Westgate would beat Curtis. Acadiana would have beat St Pauls if those punkass kids from St Pauls hadnt started stuff with Acadiana and got the QB ran.
