I don't see why anyone listens to local radio in the car. It's the most pointless thing ever.
Find some good music and then listen to the big boys talk about sports when you get home/look up what you want to know.

Some people have bigger aspirations in life than being a local sports talk show host. Pretty clear Matt does things that he thinks may give him better opportunities in his career. Whether they do or don't, i don't know, but at least he's trying. My former boss did things i didn't like and thought were stupid sometimes, but he did them b/c he knew they would look good and get him the promotion that he eventually got a few months ago.
Change the channel if you don't like him.
That being said, i had to turn his show off b/c of all this gay talk as well. It's not that Matt talked about it too much, it's that i just don't give a shite about it and it's all you see on any sports show or radio right now. I'm tired of it.
I think Matt should bring back the SWAC/MEAC updates. The call in's to Condon were great when he use to do that.

I think Matt gets an erection when controversial issues come up like Michael Sam, such that (Mascona) can play up the "I am above the fray " card.
In others words, "see I honorable I am and how my audience is beneath me " type persona. Scoot in the morning on WWL does the exact same thing. They both try so hard to show people how they don't have a predijuce bone in their body and how we should all get along and sing Cola Cola commercials together. If you have to try that hard, you definitely not being truthful.

I don't know if it's the same girl, but the one I'm thinking of sounds like a nine year old Valley girl. It was weird listening to her promo the Gold Club in that child's voice.

Which single man radio host doesn't hang up or cut off some of their callers? Out of 1 hour I listened to sports radio today cowherd did it and finebaum did it twice( yes, yes I know his show isn't really the same)
