We have no proof that Miami is actually the team here. We have multiple instances of LSU doing it. LSU fans insist they did nothing (even with all the proof) but want to play the “oh look at what Miami” is doing with only speculation.

I still don't understand what exactly connected LSU to Demond Williams aside from beat writers saying that LSU was a team to watch.
If that's the only evidence then the tampering allegations should apply to Miami as well since they have been the only school connected to him by similar beat writers since his entrance into the portal.

You do realize agents are completely free to gauge “general” interest, “general” price ranges, etc without saying “hey how much will you give my ____ player” or “no MY represented player wants____ amount”.
Most of the time they have an excellent idea of the market before going into the portal itself.
