The disabled list is now known as the injured list

Say goodbye to the disabled list. Major League Baseball is renaming its designation for hurt players the "Injured List" and getting rid of the DL, a fixture in the game since 1966, a source familiar with the plan tells ESPN.

I prefer the discomfort list

This offseason has sucked.
Yeah I guess we're just gonna watch the Phillies stock up while we do nothing.
Massive rebuild for nothing.

Fans of the Philadelphia Phillies got their hopes up about a Bryce Harper signing when Harper commented on the Instagram of Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins on Friday night. And while that comment was not followed by any announcement, there’s now another report that a deal between Harper and Philadelphia could be close.
Jim Bowden, the former baseball general manager who now works for the Athletic and Sirius XM, said on a CBS Sports show Saturday that Harper and the Phillies “could be close to a deal.”
“I keep hearing there’s a lot of momentum and traction on him signing with the Philadelphia Phillies,” Bowden said on the show. “He could be rounding third and heading home shortly.” He added that if Harper doesn’t go to Philly, he could return to the Nationals.

No fricking clue why he would want to play in philly... take the same money and stay with Washington.
Or take a little less and go somewhere decent.

I mean Philly is legit...
They have a ton of young talent in pitching and they have some hitters.

He would put the Phillies on even footing with Wash to be the favorites to win that division

The phillies would be legitimate contenders with Harper

I’m guessing Dodgers are out at this point?

Even without Harper they are

I’m talking about as a place to live and be for the next 10yrs.
Washington DC/Virginia, Chicago, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles... All better places to live.

1. Any major city like that is going to have badass living options for people that rich
2. It ain’t like he’s gonna spend is offseasons there

Philly is pretty awesome. I take it you haven’t been

I have a feeling we will see with Harper or Machado announce Monday they signed

A bigger shock to me is Kimbrel/Dallas remain unsigned. I thought Kimbrel would get 70 million over 4 years and Dallas 80-90 million over 4

Keuchel’s FA has been extremely quiet. I think they overestimated the market for him

Oh yeah, they were looking for Corbin type numbers at the start. Seems 18-20 million a year should get it done though. He is still effective even though not an ace.
