the most humble " nfl star" I've ever been around is Julio Jones. He's just a real quiet, low key dude. He doesn't really celebrate after TDs either, just hands the ball to the ref and joins his teammates.

It's either Calvin Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald. It's pretty interesting. We just went through an era of wide receivers who were all brash and cocky, and we seem now to have a reaction against it. The best receivers right now tend to be quietly dominant. They let their play due to the talking.

Very true.. just look at some of the top WR's hitting (or passing) the prime of their careers right now.
Andre Johnson
Calvin Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald
AJ green
Colston
And then there's Atlanta's WRs...

Andre Johnson. Quiet, humble, extremely giving to the Houston community, and told DeAndre Hopkins that he(DH) can be better than him(AJ).
The dude has only shown negative emotion once in his lengthy career. You can ask Cortland Finnegan how that went.

Among players with a spotlight on them, has to be Andrew Luck. The best of all the young quarterbacks but you would never know it talking to him. Just goes about his business, always deflecting credit and taking blame. Never once as he done that ridiculous Superman gesture after scoring or the Discount Double Check maneuver.

btw, Barry Sanders is the most obvious answer. I wanted someone not mentioned already. Sanders never once celebrated a touchdown - just flipped the ball to the ref and went back to the sideline. His rookie year he was 10 yards shy of being the rushing leader but the Lions were ahead and the backups were in. When the coach asked him if he wanted to go back in to get the title, he said no. He did not care about it. Give the backups a chance.
He also could have easily put the all-time rushing yardage record well out of Emmitt Smith's reach, but he retired a year before he would have broken Walter Payton's record after only 10 seasons because he got tired of losing.

Love him, but it's more than obvious he's a classless statpadder.

Drew Brees is the answer here.

There is no such thing as a statpadder.
