Yup, won the five most difficult games after the "scandal."

Once again Netflix untold has a potentially good one and they deliver a very surface level product. They really didn’t bring any new or interesting information to the table, wouldn’t waste your time other than some good nostalgia from that Super Bowl run they had

No way in this day and age that has not come out. Not to mention an autopsy report in a murder investigation is a matter of public record in Tenn.

I've seen one or two of these. They are the softest docs. They get zero depth on these things.
I feel this way about most Netflix docs.
They tend to interview or feature random people that have no actual connection to the story. It looks nice and shiny in hdr 4k, but there's zero substance.
I think the DB cooper doc was a perfect example of this.

He didn't die from the gunshot wound - he died of asphyxiation. After his side piece shot him, she cut off his dick and shoved it in his mouth and he choked to death.
That's horrific if true.
It’s not true

1) Steve McNair is dead? And was murdered?
2) what was the drama with hope solo?

Yeah I thought the UF and Johnny football ones would be incredible but they both lacked depth
I think both sold out to have urban and Johnny participate and then let them control the narrative, that’s not interesting.
That seems to be a theme with a lot of recent athlete documentaries I've watched, esp on Netflix. They get access, but they're not going any deeper than the subjects or their families want to go.
I wonder how much money Manziel has been paid to talk about his 3 year blaze of glory. The fact that people will pay a career bro-bro-bro to talk about bro'ing out with his bros is more interesting to me than any of his bro party stories. Bro.

I don’t even get the point, sure you got urban but if he isn’t going to give you anything you couldn’t get from pretty much any interview why bother ? Clickbait TV
You marketed it around telling the wild stories from that era but didn’t deliver, there have been tons of UF players that have come out saying they didn’t even scratch the surface. Surely getting them on would have been cheaper and more entertaining than urban and Tim reliving the glory days

McNair one was terrible.
It was basically a recap of his career. But it wasn’t even a good recap.
And oh by the way, he got murdered, and there’s really no evidence that anyone did it other than his girlfriend, but we’re gonna make vague suggestions.

A total waste of time. 55 mins of puff piece career stuff and the last 5 mins introduce a weak arse conspiracy theory from a new character who I guess was a cop at one time?
How the hell can you take the story of a married former league MVP having a beef with his best friend/body guard, getting murdered in his frick pad by his Iranian side piece (while cheating on her with numerous other side pieces), have the body found by a sketchy white dude who leaves the crime scene after calling the best friend/body guard (and not 911) and have unlimited access to all text messages from all involved and STILL make it boring?
The only thing interesting was trying to figure out if dead eyed Jeff Fisher was on Oxy or on Oxy after a coke binge.

Certainly sounds cooler than his side peice just shooting him, for sure

The Stalions doc releases tonight

"Sign Stealer" debuts Tuesday, which Netflix describes as Stalions sharing his side of the scheme "that turned him into a viral villain." The episode runs one hour and 27 minutes.
"If I'm a bad guy, then everyone in football is a bad guy," Stalions says in the trailer, which appears to show pictures on a computer of him illustrating how his hand signal would correspond to an opposing team's offensive play design.
"Untold: Sign Stealer" debuts early Tuesday morning. Netflix original TV shows and movies are typically released globally at 3 a.m. Eastern Time, according to the streaming service.

I haven't seen the doc on Stallions but it seems to me he's enjoying his 15 minutes he's getting from this ordeal. He doesn't care if he's seen as the bad guy as long as his name is out there

I haven’t watched the doc yet but apparently Stallions denied being on the CMU sideline. Then they cut to Portnoy’s interview and he said Stallions admitted it to him.

That’s not true. I’ve heard that same rumor years ago. His only wounds were 4 GSW from a 9mm. All of which would have probably been fatal. I’ve seen the autopsy reports.

He was shot 4 times. 2 to the chest and 2 to the head. She hit him on the sides of the head and chest.
