NFL open-air stadiums are going the way of the dinosaur.

Not sure who said that but out of curiosity, what makes it the best? The party atmosphere of the surrounding city is what I I assume. Why would just having a dome make it the best? I've never been but i know on TV it doesn't look as good as the outdoor stadiums.

WE DEM BOYS will own that place

Hopefully we see the Redskins be the Redskins again at some point
This is never happening. We just have to accept that and not have constant posts about it.

A stadium back in the city was the only way to go.

The Superdome is an older lower quality dome and the paint scheme does it no favors.
Outside of Miami and San Francisco, you won’t be seeing anymore Super Bowls outside, definitely not in cold weather northern states. The annoyance and risk just isn’t worth it. No one is going to give up watching the Super Bowl because the people in the crowd aren’t cold and the weather isn’t shite.

Agreed. Few cities actually have all four major sports within the city limits. Look forward to seeing the area around RFK be built up like Navy Yard was with the Nats

I think the plan is to build a greenway between Nats park and the new stadium

But will it have a sewer line exposed. That would make it legit.

That looks really cool. Now build it EXACTLY like that. Completely transparent roof and all.

Why does the State of Louisiana generate so much butthurt on you? Good God man, just let whatever Louisiana girl keyed your car go.

Name it RFK stadium, change name to Washington Redskins and I'll be a fan for life

Beautiful. Hate the dome though.
You're not allowed to build football stadiums anymore, even for football.... As mentioned, Super Bowl and whatever other junk they're gonna claim to host to sell the modern multipurpose to the public.

The Super Dome with a glass roof would be on point.

Get over the Redskins thing, guys. It's done and dusted.
But it's edgy, bro!
