Damn. These refs in the NFL are trash, pure and simple. Guy on TV just gave the criteria, and that's something basic a ref should know.

Nah it wasn’t. Any block with the blocker moving towards or parallel to his own endzone is a penalty.

It’s the endzone your defending from my impression and he was def running towards the Steelers endzone they are defending…. I mean every blocker moving downfield engaging with someone on the defense would be illegal using your logic.

Basically you cant block a defender backwards or even sideways, per the rule. Backwards meaning back towards the line of scrimmage
