VGK just underway at Tampa Bay. Jiri Patera between the pipes tonight as both starters are hurt and out for the next few games. It wouldn’t be a VGK season if we didn’t blow through multiple goaltenders.

Wings blew a 5-1 lead against the Flyers. Regulation ended 6-6. Ended up winning with Patty Kane scoring the game-winner in a shootout.

I'm not sure - sometimes agree and sometimes don't
Georgiev has certainly let in some bad goals this year and has been overworked at times. He has also come up with big saves, but usually by then he's given up 3-4 goals (see Ottawa game in 3rd period he was clutch). Most of the goals he gives up are from high quality chances that the defense allows. I think it's more of a defensive problem and lack of attention to detail than anything else. Opponents are getting wide open from defensive lapses and turnovers, multiple times a game. Last night I can really only say 1 of 5 goals was "his fault"
Prosvetov has proved he is a competent backup and should be played more to allow Georgiev to get back to last season's form.
