I know next to nothing besides hockey besides guys on ice try to put puck into goal. But a game 7 for the championship where 1 team is about to choke a 3 game lead? frick it, I'm in!

Not the intended audience, but McDavid has had the weight of unreal expectations on his shoulders since he was 13. People knew who he was, and the Oilers tanked for forever in order to get him.
Regardless of what happens in Game 7, he has been That Guy. He's an incredible athlete, and he's earned his accolades. Respect.
Still pulling for the Panthers. But Maurice has his work cut out for him, and he can't count on home ice to bail him out. The pressure is unreal.

Good research. I couldn't remember anyone slighting him recently. I know I certainly didn't. He might win Conn Smyth even if the Oil lose Game 7.
