I will be shocked if Torre gives up a 2-0 lead with two to play in LA for the series

Yah Torre's teams have never blown a series lead.

cause we put up with this shite every year from cubs fans. "Cubs are the best, everyone else sucks, we gonna win it all..."

Right, that happens every year.

Any team that had the best record in the league would act that way, so this year is different because the Cubs have the best team in the NL (they're currently choking to death but that's a different story). You don't hear that EVERY year.

If I lived in Chicago, I'd be in the bleachers right now, or at least in Murphy's drinking my sorrows away instead of posting on this shitty thread.

You know..I'm a Sox fan. I don't care for the Cubs. I live about an hour outside of Wrigley Field. I have to get up early for work. I still wouldn't be out there though. The sight of the Cubs logo makes me want to throw up.

Geaux...you are the exception...you are actually around during the season.

I've been around all season long too. Hating the cubs all along the way every fricking time they came back to beat us.

It comes with the territory of success. Same reason people hate the Yankees. Only difference is somewhere around 26 world series in the last 100 years.

And so could about 8 teams in the AL...I mean when you play Cincy, Pittsburgh and Houston all the time, it's easy to put up a good W-L.

Dude you keep saying the Central was terrible.....it wasn't..in past years yes...but not this year.

Tough as the AL? No...but def tougher then NL central and just as tough as NL East.

Yeah..keep hopping, Soriano. I hate that fricker, he refuses to play the game hard or even try for that matter. The only time he puts any effort in is when he is at the plate.

I'm an LSU fan, I live about 10 minutes away from the Superdome. I don't care for Tulane, so I don't go to the games. The sight of the Tulane logo makes me want to throw up.

Why would you think I'd feel differently if I lived in Chicago??
