tOSU gained respect in that they played well enough to win, except when it mattered.

Texas lost prestige IMHO, because Joe Public expected Texas to blow tOSU out. That certainly didn't happen. Texas was very fortunate.

You guys played a respectable game but I thought Texas was going to play better than they did.

Lost. Terrell Pryor is not the savior they believe they had.

I see them keeping this same streak going with the shitty Big Ten though.

I'd say you gained some but should OU get manhandled by the Gators it will be diminished.

Gained, glad to see they didn't quit and found myself going for them.

One of these years. Of course i know you'll be back.

Ohio St. didn't gain my respect b/c they lost another big game

until they win 2 in a row, they will be overrated for being invited back each year

Nah, probably our third best game behind Mich St and Northwestern.

Tressel vs. Stoops would be a classic matchup.

your players gained it. They played their asses off.

i greatly question Tressel's game time coaching.

I had a feeling Ohio State would give Texas a much better game than most experts were predicting. I think you maintained your position as one of the better teams in the country; I don't know if you improved your reputation any though as it wasn't a win. 0-3 in your last 3 bowls (BCS Bowls which is quite an accomplisment) looks good on no team's resume.

i gained a little respect for the way the ohio state D played in the 3rd and most of the 4th quarter. But then I lost it after they let UT's wide out walk to the endzone.

Here's a thought...Ohio State was better than people thought. Texas had to gut it out...but they showed heart in their final drive. Texas gained some respect from me for not giving up when OSU had finally slammed the door...apparently.

And Ohio State gained some respect for not laying down like the media thought they would. I had this game as close...I don't know why anyone would assume Florida or Oklahoma would win against the Bucks by 3 tds +. The Bucks play good defense. Defense keeps you in games.
