That was some of the most spectacular tennis I have ever seen on that point. Unreal

I've never understood Fed's stubbornness at playing his "own game" trying to beat Rafa, versus changing things up a bit and playing more to Rafa's relatively weak backhand.

Fed's game is good enough to be everyone else but Rafa and Djok.

Geez, Fed is amazing at this cross court slice that he has been doing. And Nadal's foot speed is still best ever.

Funny, the analysts leading up to this match mentioned the same thing. Fed mixes up his game against everyone but Nadal. Including Djokovic, who he's had success against.

The first few games of the first set Fed dominated, he was pounding balls to Nadals backhand against the line then either ripping a forhand up the line or cross court opposite corner to Nadals forehand. It was beautiful and working extremely well, then he completely abandoned it.

Thanks. Now does tennis have seasons like football, baseball etc? Or do they have matches year round?

Another forehand error costs him the break and very possibly the set. Up 5-4 serving for set he puts him away.

Yeah but the players hate it. I think it changes soon and I agree it should.

You should go find some of the old McEnroe/Borg matches. They are amazing.

From a viewer standpoint I love it, if I was playing....yeah, I would have a different opinion.

Rafa escapes.

They only hate it due to the ranking system. If they only had to compete in the majors and just a very few tourneys it wouldn't be bad. But to be seeded high they have to play a ton of matches and consistently place.
