College Football show just said A&M was -3. I was shocked. I went to 5dimes to put everything I had on it. It's not there. Come here, read a few pages and nowwwww I get it.

Ole Miss +15.5 vs bama
someone explain to me how Ole Miss keeps this game within 16 points in tuscaloosa...Take away their performance against a once in a generation player in JFF, their defense has played well... and we're talking about a backfield that consists of Bo Wallace and Jeff Scott.
People are putting too much stock in Ole Miss right now... they narrowly escaped against a pretty medicre Vandy team, and caught Texas at the perfect time (and still gave up points and yards to a backup QB). Bama will force Wallace to throw... expect at least two INTs.
if they keep it within 17, i'd be shocked.

Jeff Scott and Bo Wallace have been Top 5ish SEC players at their positions this year, so I'm not sure what the "it's just Wallace and Scott" comment is coming from. You seems a bit biased.
Bama's intimidation factor isn't there this season. In the past, most teams felt defeated before the game even started- this Ole Miss seems confident. They've already won 2 road games.
Ole Miss' offense has not been stopped this season. Regardless of what the public feels about Vandy, it was Vandy's Superbowl IMO and it was a hyped game. Vandy is solid defensively. For Ole Miss, it was a SEC road win vs. a team that won 9 games last year. Ole Miss scored at will in the 2nd half.
Texas, regardless of the shite show - it was a game in Austin vs a power program and 100K fans. Texas was desperate for a win coming off the BYU mudhole loss. Ole Miss outscored Texas 27-0 in the 2nd half and won by 3 TDs. I would assume it's extremely rare for Texas to lose in Austin by 3 TDs- it probably never happens.
I just think you need to look at it from both sides, this game seems fairly capped.

if you look at the vandy and texas wins, they're definitely not as impressive as one would've thought going into the season... I've watched VU their last couple games, and they're just a bad football team right now (granted, the whole superbowl aspect could be at play, but i doubt it). Same goes for texas.
I agree that Bama may not have the intimidation factor as year's past, but this is still a very good defense. The numbers are skewed b/c of JFF and a fourth quarter comeback that should've never happened.
The perception of both teams has the line lower than it should be, IMO... we'll obviously see saturday.

Bama D really isn't that good. VT had guys wide open Tomas just sucks so bad he couldn't hit them. A&M diced them up.

I think we'll start to see the truth about his bama team on saturday... my opinion is they're better than they've shown to date, but I can see how others dont feel that way. bottom line is they've yet to play a complete game on both sides of the ball
I could be wrong and we all see a single digit game... but the teams that go into BDS and don't get their arse kicked are teams with superstar QBs or lights out defenses... ole miss has neither.

I agree with you we don't really know a whole lot about each teams.
I think Bama's D is still good, but the CBs are suspect no doubt.
The thing no one is talking about is Bama's offense. They might actually be down this due to the losses on the OL. Sure they had a great offensive game vs. TAMU, but the TAMU D is absolutely atrocious. Bama's offense (albeit they didn't seem to care too much) was putrid vs. Va Tech and CSU.
This will be a revealing week for sure.

Getting our two biggest targets back for AJ will be big - Cooper and Norwood. They both sat out against CSU. We sat out our most experienced OL in Steen.
Yeldon missed 1Q. And we were without two starting DBs in Belue and Jarrick Williams.
I have yet to read how many of them will be back, but that's a good chunk to be missing in one game.
As bad as our offense looked against CSU, our defense didn't allow them across the 50 until the 3rd quarter, in which they did it two straight drives for a 45 and 31 yard field goal.

Here's my 5, what do you think?
Duke -10
Rice -13.5
Seattle(NFL) -3
Texas A&M +7
Navy -3
i was getting Duke -11.....Duke and Navy made me too nervous so i passed. i was thinking about taking Rice but i didn't know enough about either team. that A&M spread has to be a typo that nobody caught.

And even if it were real, due to human error, they don't have to honor that line. It's in their rulebook clear as day.

A$M didn't dice them up. They just threw it up.

Temple/Idaho total is at 56.5.
Should I bet my left nutsack on the under, or my mother's life?
The score of that game will surely be 21-10 or thereabouts. This is how cripple fights always play out. When a team can't score, they can't score on ANYBODY.
I also like Temple ATS.
And I NEVER bet totals, so I'm probably not gonna risk momma's life or the family jewels, but i like the under.
I was just looking into this O/U. The line at my book opened at 46 and is now up to 56.5.
Not sure how this happened. Did someone return from injury? 10 points is huge line movement.
Both offenses are terrible, why would anyone bet the over?
