As much as any reason that I'm rooting for Zverev is that I want to see some balance in the next gen group amongst number of titles (especially majors) won instead of an Alcaraz dominance - not that I have anything against the kid.

I feel like Zverev is playing about as good as I've seen him play, considering what he is up against. That break/hold consolidation sequence was high level, especially the deuce point to get him the ad where they traded the angle volleys.

I love what I'm seeing right now from Zverev - Alcaraz killing his second serve by moving in, so he starts bombing second serves. Lots of ebbs and flow in this one, all the makings of a classic with new faces I'm loving this. Have to take a pause for 11:00 mass.
