The Chargers signed former Ravens LB Jarret Johnson to a 4 year deal, don't how much money though.

Pretty good addition, I thought he was underrated in Baltimore.

Cowboys signed CB Brandon Carr for 5 years/50.1 million (just trumping Finnegan's deal).

Giants signed TE Mertellus Bennett to a 1 year/2.5 million deal.

Best FA CB out there imo. They need help at CB more than anybody in the league and glad they didnt go after Finnegan.

I'm a little surprised, because I wasn't sure they'd find a happy number for both, but that's not terrible. I think he'll be better now that he's not worried about getting paid.

The real question is whether he'll bother to learn another route to run besides the Go route. The attitude might be better but I hope he doesn't get complacent. Actually, I hate the Eagles so I hope he does get complacent.

I'm pretty GD excited about it. He's one of those "never throw to his side" type of corners that we've desperately needed. Also just getting rid of M. Bennett is a huge upgrade in terms of overall trimming the fat. Oh and not to mention Orton is not a bad back-up at all. Dallas is making some good moves so far.

I really wanted to keep him but I knew he was gonna be way overpriced. He made big plays in situations where he was the 3rd or 4th option and disappeared a little bit when he was the number 1 on a certain play. I'm not sure he's worth anything close to 6+ a year.
