I'm on Houston +18.5 tonight. The BYU and Taysom Hill hype machine is on overdrive right now after beating a horribly soft and one-dimensional Texas team last week. I have a feeling that win will look much less impressive by about week 7 this year.

I agree. That game was 6-0 at halftime. UH has an underrated defense that kept them in the UTSA game for as long as a defense can when an offense has 6 turnovers.

I just took Houston +17.5. Was leaning towards it, just think BYU is due for a letdown. Hope i'm not wrong!

Lean Houston +17.5 but It's difficult to understand why the UH offense has dropped off so much. O'Korn only threw one TD last week against Grambling, and the BYU defense is no joke.
I've been burned this year by road dogs in college and would only feel comfortable teasing Houston. Passing on this game.

Somebody drop some knowledge on me for this Arkansas/Tech game. Hogs are getting +1 against a team that ranks 107th against the run. Tech has given up 455 rush yards in 2 games. 178 against Central Arkansas and 277 against UTEP.
I realize Arkansas doesn't have the best past defense and Lubbock isn't necessarily a fun place to play, but what am I missing?

I stopped trying to bet on Texas Tech games, especially those played in Lubbock. I stay far far away (from the bet and from Lubbock itself).

Arkansas will win.
Tech is bad, real bad. Barely escaped with a win at UTEP. Absolutely no defense and offense is sputtering.

Why do people keep saying this? It's their first home game of the year! If they can't get up for their first home game, then they have problems.
