I had a great week. 11-2 for NFL. 1-8 on Saturday. It does beat going 0-20 for 1st week. I guess i'll be avoiding Saturdays from now on

By all means. But nothing that USCe has shown proves that they're capable of competing with Georgia. I'll put my money on the best player in college football this year. Good luck to you whatever side you choose

Look, I agree. UGA passes the eye test and is the play based on that. But, it does not pass the smell test. I bet if I asked everyone in here what they thought the spread would be, every answer would have been atleast 14 or more. 14 would have been the lowest. That is whats scary. By all means do what you wish, im not saying you cant win, but tread lightly. It has trap game written all over it

The eye test tells me Georgia by 10 or 11. But you're right, the smell test is a red flag. Just about every year the GA-SC game has something we're not expecting - it's hardly ever by the book. I'm most likely staying away from this game, though I could be convinced to go with SC if it gets to 7.5.

Just locked in a 5 team teaser
Georgia at -1/2
USC at -10 1/2
Lsu at -25
Missouri at -4 1/2
Miss St. at - 8 1/2
Was torn between bama an miss st. Miss St beat southern miss 49 -0 with a 31 point spread while the spread for bama is 47. Couldn't pull the trigger something didn't seem rite .

Anyone care to discuss the Army/Stanford game with me? Does David Shaw have enough brass to run the score up on Army? He coached like a huge pussy against USC. I think Army can score enough to keep it within 30.
Army covered last season, I remember playing that game and losing. Line was about the same too.

If you are a single male in his early to mid 20's and posting in this thread you should pack everything you own and move to Vegas for a few years. I'm 34 and wish I had been here 10 years ago. Me and TTT started this thread back in 2010. I opened a 5dimes account and was dicking around, the Saturday of the Ole Miss game my friend who was living in Vegas met me in BR, when we left the game I checked my phone and I had hit my 4 teamer, my 7 teamer, and was 12 teams into my 13 team lottery ticket but USC blew it.
So I had the itch and decided I had to move out here. After you move here you meet all sorts of connections. I spent tonight in my own personal Happy Gilmore style happy place. At the Spearmint Rhino, getting free lap dances, drinking free booze in my left hand and placing live in game bets on my William Hill app in my right hand.
And I'm just an average guy. If you have any semblance of a personality you can slay pussy that makes sorority row at LSU look like a dog pound.
And you can bet on sports literally 24/7 without a credit card and wire transfers. You can shop books and earn comps doing it. And there's an endless supply of tourists with a "what happens in Vegas" attitude. You only live once and this is an awesome place to spend part of your journey. Plus the striper fishing is great.
I won't live here forever but every guy should spend a few years here.
Dad worked out there for a few years, loved visiting him. I was just out there for SB last March, it was great. Plus the MWC and PAC-12 conference tournaments where going on.

Maybe against a halfway competent team. BC is a dumpster fire. I see continued momentum for USC. Seems like Sark has given the program a spark. The season is young but they're looking like they could be contenders to win the conference
I've watched both their games, they aren't that bad. I lean on playing them because USC is going cross country, coming off a huge emotional road win, etc etc.

I haven't seen much talk about Arizona State. Anyone else like them at -16? They beat Colorado like a drum a year ago and Colorado is coming off of a game in which Massachusetts gave them everything they could handle. Colorado is giving up 34.5 points per game, so I would think Arizona State can pretty easily get to 42-45. Can Colorado actually score 28 points?

First play of the week
Houston +18.5
With a little sprinkle on the ML
Not saying Houston won't cover, but you do realize that BYU has only lost 4 games in Provo since 2010, and 2 of those were to Utah, and one was to a top 10 Oregon State squad. Like I said, not saying they won't cover, but save your money on the ML.

I see what you are saying, but i like putting 10% on the ML dogs on decent spreads. Usually leads to good payouts.

Houston (if it can play like its 2013 iteration) has the potential to be a live dog in this game, but I'm not sure we can trust them until they prove worthy of it.
The Taysom Hill Heisman Train is just beginning to roll. The BYU D is underrated as well, and Provo is a House of Horrors for teams out-of-region. I suspect O'Korn throws at least 3 picks in this game if not more.
What I saw from Houston Week 1 makes me want to fade them - they are unreliable as all hell...

Anybody thinking about E Carolina against Va Tech? They are getting 11, Va Tech coming off a big road win.Noon game as well

BYU should cover. A Thursday night road game in that altitude will be awfully tough for a team from Houston. I might nibble.
But Arizona State is the play of the week for me. Colorado is simply atrocious and Graham loves to run up the score.
