The Steelers offensive scheme this year was mind-numbingly inept with one of the best QBs in history.
The Steelers didn't have one the best qbs in history. They had the guy that used to be that.

Would you take him over your school’s current OC? Honestly?
I wouldn’t take him over our currently one. Hell I’m not even sure if I would take him over our last OC and I wanted that guy fired two weeks into the season.

Yes I 100% would. I also think we made a complete dog shite hire to replace Klein and I can actually see Smith’s scheme being similar at the college level to what we ran this past year
If he got hired at Purdue I don’t think it would work. At Ohio State I can see it working, because they are going to (or should) consistently beat teams up front.
That to me is the difference between play calling at the college and pro level. Who knows, maybe he runs something completely different from what I am expecting, or NIL and the portal have neutralized what I’m talking about

Oh Lord
What a terrible hire. Dude has no clue how to use playmakers unless they’re Jonnu Smith at TE.

this the first step that leads to Arthur taking the Memphis job and it officially becoming FedEx U
Will be something to see in 2-4 yrs of Memphis becomes the Oregon of the south and eclipses 90% of the SEC on financial backing.

Smart way for OSU to get some fed ex NIL money

Talk about failing upward. This dude is the heir to the FedEx fortune and has sucked everywhere he’s been. Does a TERRIBLE job of coaching to his players’ strengths. But likely won’t matter outside of 2 games since OSU has more talent than virtually every team they play.

Day has done well with nearly every assistant coaching hire.
I know some people that socialized with him back in his Georgetown Prep days in DC. Very high roller school, legions of elitist assholes and they swore he was one of the nicest people they ever knew, and very very bright.

This is Ohio State overreacting to Indiana.
