Absolutely insane to me that they’re paying Kyle f’ing Tucker $20M per year AAV than Aaron Judge. Blows my mind.

1. holy frick you of all people making that point is just amazing. your continued general lack of self awareness is honestly insane. like wow
2. how is THAT any kind of spin? if anything its a negative tone, acknowleding the dodgers lost the negotiation and overpaid. again, your inability to competently interact with other people is remarkable

That’s fricking nuts for a guy that hasn’t done shite in the postseason since 2021
All he needs to do for the Dodgers is be pretty good. They have the money to pay 60 mil per for that.

Skubal signing with the Dodgers in 3, 2, 1 .....

Pretty sure the reason the Dodgers are going crazy this winter is that they know they won't be allowed to sign anyone next winter.

idk whats funnier. the blue jays losing to the dodgers again or the mets coming in 2nd to the dodgers for another FA
Option 3. The Mets spending $350-$400 million to finish behind Philly again.

Dodgers gonna single-handidly bring about a hard salary cap in baseball, which was thought to be almost impossibility only a couple yrs ago.
The big market clubs would never allow it since it's to their advantage, and baseball doesn't want the likes of the Rays and Twins in the world series every other year and the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Mets, Cubs, etc on the same footing as everyone else, and the risk of losing a big market club in the WS every year.
But it's clear as day now that is what will have to occur and the agents and players and players union will likely never agree to it.
MLB is now worse than the pre-NIL peak of CFB where only 3-4 teams had a shot every year at a title. In baseball, now it's only one.
It's going to be 1994 all over again, but worse, because an entire season won't even occur.
Add that the to the impending doom bubble of losing all their local TV rights deals and it will be amazing if MLB players even make hockey salaries after that and 10K people show up to a game.
