As Jason Whitlock noted in discussing the WNBA players and Coaches bipolar hypocrisy:

"They don't guard Caitlin Clark like she's the 9th best guard in the League; opponents guard her like she's the greatest basketball player of all-time.

" The entire defense is set up to stop and disrupt (ala Jordan Rules) Caitlin Clark....they pick her up full court, then blitz her when she passes the Logo."

"I don't need statistics to tell me that Caitlin Clark is the best player in the WNBA, or statistics to tell me she's the most dangerous player in the WNBA....all I have to do is watch how she's defended."

The ridiculous takes in this thread are almost enough to make me start liking Kamala Cait again. Almost.

The Top vote getter (fans) for the All-Star game 2 years ago was Aja Wilson with 95,000 votes.

Caitlin Clark got 1.3 million votes this year.

Someone do the math and TV #s and explain the chasm Before CC and After CC.

Its mind-numbing how MSM and WNBA brass want to ignore this uncomfortable truth. There isn't another player in the WNBA that is 1/10th as important to the League or could not be easily replaced.

But yet no team will dare give her an open look and they pick her up 90 feet from the basket. I don’t see anyone else being guarded like she is.

If you actually watched this year(I don’t and that fat grifter doesn’t either) you would see she had only played 9 games and she is playing poorly

Ok that’s 4/8 ahead of her.

And I’m sure those four players get the same amount of defensive pressure and attention that Clark gets.

There are people in this thread obviously lying about watching WNBA games. Jason Whitlock is also lying. None of you have watched a full WNBA game. Not a single one. In your entire life. Neither have I because I am not a black lesbian.

I kind of agree with what you're trying to prove, but you're such a fricking retard I do not want to. You suck arse.

With the way you argue, you could say the sky is blue and everyone would want to think otherwise.

She's only played nine games, hasn't played great, but she is still an all star starter and captain. Yet that's somehow not enough for grown men on tigerdroppings.

Um yeah, the goal of playing defense is to not allow your opponent an open look.

Yes, again, the objective to playing defense is to guard your opponent.
Is that the excuse you're giving for her ranking 54th in the league in FG%, and 1-for-23 on 3-pointers over her last three games, that she's being guarded?

Maybe poorly for what we the public expect from her

12th in points per game
31st in rebounds
2nd in assists
9th in steals
22nd in blocks

Interesting that she does not show up on the league stats page of ESPN unless you click on turnovers. For all other categories she is not listed.

Sub standard is probably better.

Given the comparable stats to everyone above her, her ranking by the players is about right. She certainly isn't the 3rd best guard this year. Why not overreact about that?

But yet she is still an all star starter and captain getting something she hasn't earned this year based on play HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

This shite isn't hard to find.

To qualify, a player must be on pace to play 24 games

which she currently isn't.

unless you click on turnovers.

Such a overwhelming lead that the algorithm must be confused and think she's met the games played mark.

Sabrina Ionescu made the All-WNBA, AS team and was 6th in MVP voting last season with a lot of numbers being nearly identical to Clark’s this season except she didn’t rebound as well and was much lower in APG. This is just another attack from Proles who support all the things they pretend to be against.
