In the 2000’s thread it seemed like most/a lot of 2nd place finishers seemed better.

Does anyone feel that way about 2010’s?

I’d love to hear the reasoning from posters who don’t put Cam and Burrow as 1-2 (interchangeable).

He was the best back in the conference that year. And it’s not really close.

Cmon man, are you seriously telling me that ALABAMA needed every bit of yardage from Henry to win the natty? Newsflash, they didn't. I didn't say that he wasn't a major reason Bama won the national championship, of course he was, but Auburn without Cam Newton goes like 7-5. 2015 Alabama without Henry still makes the playoffs.

Also, its hilarious that y'all downplay Coker now when most of the time you talk about how good he was

No
I feel like this is the decade we started getting the true “most outstanding player” and not just the best player on a top ranked team

6. Henry - Dominant RB and deserving, he didn't have to carry the team
You didn't watch much Bama football. He was our entire offense. We did have a killer defense, but Coker was terrible and couldn't often take advantage of having OJ Howard and Ridley.

Look man, he is obviously a great player, but there is no way you can tell me he had a better Heisman season than any of the 5 I put before him.

2010’s was a much stronger decade of Heisman winners than the 90’s or 00’s.

You didn't either if you think this is true:

Probably the stupidest thing an allegedly Alabama fan has said all week. Go back and watch the pass to Stewart in the Iron Bowl and the come from behind drive against Tennessee.

Then watch the damn championship game again.

Idiot.

I hate Auburn, but anyone who doesn't have Cam at #1 or #2 is smoking something.

Auburn was a 7-5 team in the years both before and following that championship season.

Not to mention the fact he basically won the Clemson, LSU, and Alabama games by himself.

I doubt there’s been a decade with so many transfer Heisman winners, JC or otherwise.

Undoubtedly, but with the new transfer rules the twenties will probably have even more.

Also throw in that South Carolina game (the first time we played them)
We lead that game in the 4th quarter

He passed for 156 and 2Tds
Rushed for 176 and 3

Coker also torched MSU in the Cotton Bowl. Actually did OK holding D Henry to under 100 but Coker and that WR corp kicked arse. He was a fine QB.

True. But let me ask you guys this, does Auburn win it all that year without Nick Fairley wrecking shite on the interior?

Yes, they still would

That team was ranked 53rd in points given up all season
And 6 of their games they gave up 4+ TDs
