Tulane is famous for killing dying conferences

SOCON, SEC, Metro merged to become CUSA, and AAC all still kicking.

Memphis is such a joke.

Actually can’t believe these AAC teams would go to the PAC4. There is no upside.

There will have to be more teams, to bring some sanity to travel.
And what Stanford is going to do to the rest of these teams in minor sports will be ugly. Baseball would have been interesting, until our AD punted it for whatever reason.

Might as well take Hawaii or some other MWC teams while they’re at it. Imagine the travel for Hawaii vs USF games

What happened to Tulane baseball? They used to be really good under Rick Jones. The Wave made a late season run and got into the tournament as well.

I think our AD hates baseball and believes it’s a waste of athletic department spending

I've always thought the Big 12 should have taken Tulane.

Man all this long air travel seems like it’s gonna be hell for the student athletes

It's not a big deal for football because it's one game per week and most teams only travel 4 or 5 times.

What's stupid is making basketball, women's soccer, volleyball, etc travel across the country.

Meh in our part of the country, travel to the East coast and West coast is relatively equal distances… now for USF, it’s not

Those baseball, softball, basketball teams are going to catch hell with that travel. What a shite show
No worse than travel from USC/UCLA to play in Rutgers, Maryland, and Penn State. Its ridiculous for sports that play multiple games a week, but at least in USC and UCLA’s case they can point to the massive amount of money and conference stability. These AAC teams are adding major travel burdens on every other sport to go to a conference thats barely trying to survive?

It’s still a brand that is far more known than the AAC… I expect they’ll no longer brand themselves as “P6”

We really are in an alternate universe if a Rose Bowl game ever features Tulane representing the Pac10 and USCw representing the Big10.

Oregon state, cal, Stanford and Washington state should join the mountain west and be done with it. Zero reason to be involved with Memphis and south fricking Florida.
