Those were two of the most well-coached teams you’ll ever see in college football.

Truly an incredible job by both sides.

Day is no frickin joke.

I thought Days prep and plan for how to beat Clemson was absolutely perfect. I didn’t like some of the play calls early on and thought he should have stuck with the run but overall it’s easy to see he is a damn good coach.

It's just a matter of time with GOAT Joe, he's going to torch Clemson's slow D

I don't like day at all but he outclassed Brent most of the night.

Just not in the red zone.

He had one questionable TD taken off the board, two dropped passes, and a mental mistake by a teenager.

Nothing went right for Ohio State, but Ryan Day called a great game.

Shitty overturned TD aside, they were a miscommunication between the QB and WR away from winning that game. I don’t see how that’s on Day. He called a pretty good game.

Ohio State is offensively built around the run and both Fields and Dobbins were hurt, it’s not at all surprising they struggled in the red zone against an elite defense.

Fields as a pure passer without the run threat is arguably not elite and certainly nowhere near the Lawrence/Burrows tier especially injured.

His decision making and timing were off all night, which is due to playing a great defense without the the elite run game or ability to scramble and probably struggling with his mechanics a bit due to being dinged.

Saw that with Tua after the ankle, it’s on thing to be able to play through an injury, but if your mechanics are off it impacts every aspect of your game.

Wtf Ryan day completely outcoached Dabo last night. He was a step ahead for 70% of the game. Everyone on here has seen a game your team deserves to win where they don’t. It’s just a sad next morning

It’s just disappointing it was in the cfp

Certainly true. Fields is an elite dual threat. He hardly kept the ball yesterday.

Without a healthy Dobbins and not being able to run, he can't sling it and throw guys open.

Very unfortunate set of circumstances for us last night

You serious he had Dobbins wide open twice for touchdowns and he dropped both of them. The play calls were perfect.
