The Yankees have never deferred a players contract. Dodgers deferred both Ohtani and Freeman. But ya other teams have guys they deferred. Think the Red Sox are still paying Manny.

Is he though?
Gambling cover up of the century by throwing his interpreter under the bus to take the whole penalty.
Plus the fact he speaks English just fine and if you watch him on the field he communicates with everyone in English and is nodding the entire time he is being asked something as if he understands what is being said.
Just a few things that are not that likable about him.

I used to like Ohtani, but he did something akin to what got Pete Rose banned FOR LIFE……and MLB covered that shite up to protect their cash cow (both Ohtani and the frickin Dodgers).

Most Dodger fans on here have never been to LA, much less have any connections to the Dodgers at all. I have at least lived in Los Angeles, and I DESPISE everything LA. It's funny how all the "life-long Dodger fans" come out when they're winning. Kinda like the Boston Celtic fans in 2024.
