The committee will find a way to get Bama and ND into the playoffs. Even though Miami beat ND the committee will still pick ND.

Bama would have 2 regular season losses like everyone else with the biggest win in America in Athens. The sec championship shouldn’t count

Bama is the only team proven they can’t beat Georgia. Schedule ranked 10th higher than all those teams. Not getting to sit on their arse this Saturday will not bump them out no matter what.

It's a game. Played on the field. The results, both win and loss, most certainly do and should count.

You think ND should jump anyone after beating a 4-win Stanford?

Why is Texas not in the conversation? I think they should be rewarded for playing at Ohio State when lots of teams wouldn’t dare

ND should have always been above OU so perfectly reasonable for them to jump the team that just scored 17 points against a 5 loss team.

OU has scored 30 points against 1 P4 school this season. They base their ranking on their defense, but anytime they have faced a competent offense have given up 23+ points.

I actually want OU vs. ND to be in Norman so ND can go in and shite on them again just like in 2012.

People are acting like they don't remember ND losing to A&M and Miami, Texas losing to Florida and going to overtime with Kentucky and Mississippi State, and Bama getting curb-stomped by Florida State.
All those things happened. It wasn't a dream.

Bama's loss to FSU is looking really bad now. I think they're toast if they lose.

Notre dame literally has no argument over Miami.

Even if you say Miami lost to Louisville and smu and that reflects poorly on them....well, that also reflects badly on notre dame because they lost to that same Miami.

Notre dame schedule is absolute shite. Best win is an 8-3 usc team.

Notre dame is not playoff worthy

ND's resume is as dull as their helmets are shiny.

The argument for putting in notre dame over Miami is a lot like the argument for putting in Oklahoma over Texas.

So the committee jumps Bama over Notre Dame.

This is their way of saying Notre Dame and Miami are both out if BYU wins this weekend.

If BYU loses, then that puts Notre Dame and Miami ranked right next to each other. At that point, do they jump Miami over Notre Dame? It would be odd considering neither team plays this weekend.

Tonight was a bad night for Notre Dame.

They jumped Bama over ND so if Bama loses to UGA they only have to flip flop them.

Yeah, because they know they don't want to drop Bama out either way.

However, it's still a bad spot for Notre Dame to be now. If BYU loses, they will be ranked 10th and Miami will be ranked 11th. Would be quite controversial for Miami to miss out at that point.
