I’d say I guess we’ll see but I have a feeling the ravens will be paying that price tag next offseason regardless

Ravens need to draft a QB next year. Tag Jackson the next two and let him walk after that

I can’t argue with any of this.

On a serious note..

Easily the most interesting two teams to start the season for me. I wouldn’t be surprised with 11 win seasons from either of them.

Or 6.

I accidentally took Henry over Ekeler in fantasy last week.

Just a heads up.

Your shite talk is REALLY going to get to me this season

He wanted the Deshaun Watson big $230M guaranteed money. But the Ravens aren’t that stupid and know he’s a huge injury risk. Lamar is dumb to bet on himself here, the contract he was offered was life changing money. He could technically have a career ending injury this year and just be done and have only made his rookie contract

He was already injured for 5 weeks last year and he is only going to be taking more and more hits on top of his record amount of hits so far

This has the potential to be the worst decision of all time

like the Browns gave their suspended rub n tug aficionado.

Aka possibly the dumbest contract in the last decade, which is why the Ravens aren’t biting

54m next year

This × 100. He'll get burned on the fine print stuff that agents can better deal with

It works for some, Sherman was his own agent and got a nice deal... several players have worked as their own agent and signed good deals

Exactly, he’s smart. Even if he gets hurt, it’s not going to tank his value unless it’s career ending. The guy will get more than Watson in FA.

The fact that the Browns are fricking retarded should not guide future contracts for other clubs.

It sounds like the NFLPA has been his defacto agent. He talks to the Ravens then talks to the PA to figure out what to do. Which is even more insane.
