PC was talking about success in the NFL. I think he is wrong, but he was giving the numbers on the success of early entrants.

I don't think MS wil be #1, but you all will see that he will go very high. I stated he woudl be top 3 if he came out next year and was laughed off of here. AGain, this is just TSN.

QB is def one spot where maturity really helps, but Petey has been a pretty poor judge of his offensive skill player's NFL prospects....so should we really even listen to what he says anymore about this issue?

Sanchez is much faster than Stafford?

i dont know what the hell "fast" has to do with being a quarterback.

but more agile, yes, sanchez is more agile than stafford.

oh yeah, he is a top 15 lock. and top 3 is def a possibility.

i wonder if LesterEarl will say the draft is rigged if Stafford goes before Sanchez.

I got into a big debate with him b/c early in the year i said Bradford is the best college QB, and Stafford is the best pro-prospect. He said i was stupid, and Sanchez was easily the best college QB AND pro prospect....and my Bradford and Stafford claims were insane. Well, Bradford is already holding a Heisman. Maybe Stafford can fulfill the second part.

I definitely could see him being the #1 QB over Stafford, but if I'm Detroit I take Smith (if I think he's a legit LT) and try and solidify my line. They've got a good RB/WR combo in CJ and Smith and a new QB won't come in from day 1 and have much success with their line. If Smith really is an NFL LT then take him 1 and try and take a QB in round 2. There are plenty of places the Lions need help in, not just QB

well, you said "snail arse Stafford", not me. was wondering what you meant.

I bet their agility tests and 40 times will almost identical, and it wouldn't shock me if Stafford tests better on some. You are underestimating the insane speed of the d-linemen that Stafford faced every week.

Sanchez went from being Terrible on the college level to pretty damn good at the college level pretty quickly. He could have a lot more improving before he hits his ceiling. He better hope that is the case IMO, because I don't think he will be very good if not.

agreed. You will ruin a young QB if he just gets blasted from the blind side all day.

When exactly was he terrible? He played pretty good in the three games last year without prep. He started the first two games on fire this year. Cooled down a tad, then took off again, then blew up in the Rose Bowl. Not saying he will be, but I called him a top 3 pick early this season.

listen i am not trying to make an argument that sanchez is sooo much better than stafford. maybe he is, maybe he isnt. however, in terms of mobility the nod goes to sanchez.

my point is basically this: the difference that exists between stafford and sanchez is marginal at best. therefore stafford could be possibly be > sanchez or sanchez could possibly be > than stafford.

let the truth be told these guys are probably more like stafford = sanchez. which is why i find it shocking that some are surprised about the possibility of sanchez being labeled "#1"

He wasn't terrible at all this season. His worst game was probably against Arizona and he still was 21/36 for 216 1/1

it was a simple question of what you meant by "Stafford's snail arse", not who is better.

Just wondering b.c virtually every draft site lists athleticism as a positive for Stafford. sanchez is pretty elusive as well, but neither one of these guys are Pat White. Not sure how you can just say sanchez is more mobile. what are you basing that on?

sanchez rushed for 16 yards this year.

Stafford ran for 40. rushed for about 200 as a freshman.
