No way AA offered a 5 year contract to a reliever.

Sounds like he did

You continue to be a gullible fool.

AA is by no means a mastermind GM, but the one thing he has consistently been great at is working in silence. I can't think of any nominal-to-major move that he's made that's been leaked as a rumor beforehand.

Very apparent that if there is any player that we are reported to be in on, it's usually a fib coming from the agency of that player to drive up his client's price.

I would say stop being dumb... but we're well past that point with you.

I think the Sean Murphy interest was leaked about a week before the trade went down and everyone wrote it off as ridiculous because the Braves didn't need a catcher.

We still need to add another bat and another SP, but between the bad FA market and us not having much trade assets to work with, I'm not sure what more we can do.

Failing to replenish our farm has really handcuffed us.

We've gotten better this offseason, but really just because we made the backend of the bullpen better with Suarez. How many wins that actually equates to, I'm not sure it's THAT much.

Offense was our big problem last year and we really haven't gotten better. All we've done from a starting lineup standpoint is bring back Kim.

I still think a shake up trade to inject some new blood into the lineup was the way to go. We're now seeing the very predictable downside to signing so many guys to long contracts.

The Braves are banking on four guys to return to 2022-2023 form when we probably need to accept that version of these guys is gone and not coming back.

We have no idea what Strider is going to be going forward, but the track record of guys with two major elbow operations returning to their previous form is not good.

Albies is physically cooked. Harris has no pitch recognition. Riley has not been the same since Mike Brumley died.

The lack of urgency from AA after the last two seasons is what is most disheartening.

It's like he is not even trying to do something different. Just gaslighting the fanbase through the media with DOB and everyone saying the recent regression is all injury-based when anyone who actually pays attention beyond the surface knows that injuries are only a part of the problem.

We get it, you clearly dislike AA but the Braves have been in the top 3 busiest teams this offseason. They have added depth that has been missing for most of AA tenure. I’d say that is something different.

Settle down with the persecution complex snowflake.

Being busy has nothing to do with it if it means we're signing Mike Yaz and Mauricio Dubon to sit on our bench for the majority of each week.

Our lineup has been offensively deficient for the last two seasons and we've done nothing to address it.

Disagree. He showed at the end of last year that he can still hit.

Like Ozzie(same injury), it takes 18-20 months to fully recover from the hamate bone, I think he's going to have a huge year

I agree with this but people forget he's still only 23

Broke his hand again at the end of last season. He has also been severely declining in sprint speed, arm strength, and defensive range for years now. He's 29, but he's an old 29.

That's about how old Francoeur was when the league figured this out about him, too.

Riley wasn't very good in 2024 before he got hurt, either.

Hope y'all enjoyed 2021 because the Dodgers just signed Kyle Tucker.

Also a hardcore bandwagoner who will abandon all baseball discussion on this board once again after the Braves lose their first series
