114 at Trophy Club of Apalachee in Dacula, GA for me. I'm happy with that, especially with it being a new course for me.

Son wanted to go back to Barriere today (his 2nd real round). It was pretty crowded and slow. I shot an 84 (couldn't hit a green today) and he shot 98 which is 23 strokes better than the last time. I think it's going to get more expensive cause he looks like he's getting hooked on the game.

94 today at Firewheel in Garland
Probably the worst score I've shot in a year. It was a new course and the greens were recently punched, but still...

going to play the national in westlake tomm. hoping i can break 110. i have been at the range 6 times in the last two weeks(havent played a round since then) so hopefully i will play if decent.

good to see some others out there are like me and suck.

btw if anybody is interested in playing the national lmk because if you have the email they send to preferred plays(whatever the frick that means) you can play for $19 any time after 3 and that includes cart or at 5pm for $5 green fee and $5 cart.

its a beautiful course, if any of you br or nola peeps are in LC i suggest you hit it up, best course in the area along with greywood.

I got my first hole in one on Friday at Greystone in Denham Springs. It took me about 6 holes to stop shaking from excitement. Ended up shooting an 82.

41 out 46 in 87 at Pine Hills. Got behind some REALLY slow players and fricked me up. 1:15 first 9, 2:10 back 9. That was with 4 twosomes in a row including my group. Watched the guy holding everyone up stand over an approach shot for well over a minute before swinging.

Congrats man!

It's a crazy feeling. Really hard to calm your nerves after that

Missed two short putts I should have made today. Shot +1. Only played nine

Good thing about being a beginner is it takes very little to keep me playing. Had my best round ever... 102. Played pretty typical on the front 9 at 57 and then everything kind of clicked and shot a 45 on the back. By far my best 9 holes.

That's the crazy thing about it. Just when you think you are done with golf you get the one shot that makes you come back for more

Seems like I hit a really good drive or knock it stiff on the last hole of the day, makes you look forward to the next round.

93 at Brentwood in Beaumont TX. So hot I had to rotate 3 gloves and doubled the last two holes. Interesting day. My buddies went 88, 112 and god knows what. Nice coarse. I did hit a house on a lost drive.

Went at five this afternoon and got in 15 holes.was at 99 then. Shot 62 on front nine. My putting is horrible. I three or four puttedevery holeonthe front nine. Had two buddy attempts I ended up tripling and had three pars where I did the same.

Shot much better on back nine though and got my first par. Also hit four 300 yard drives, never hit even one before. I also played tourney rules so I have a legit idea of what I shootand how much I'm improving.

Anybody have any links to putting. Tips?

Not that anyone should really be listening to me after the shite I pulled today and yesterday, but you need to remember that all putts are straight and flat.

You shouldn't be aiming at the hole or x distance on either side of the hole, rather a spot where you would hit it if it were flat. Does that make sense?

Keep the pendulum swing with your putter and you'll see those four putts drop to two putts.
