So is it not a offense if she says she didn't see it. WTF

I’d be cool with that if they called it on people like Nadal (who’s the worst offender) but they don’t.

The simple fact is that Naomi was going to win that match anyway.

Nothing was going to stop that and Serena knew it. She was being a total bad sport and so are the fans now. This is embarrassing.

Hopefully Serena will be disciplined for how this all went down. She was being a shitty sport, she was getting coaching and tried to say she wasn't. Her coach admitted it. Then she tried to take her frustration out on the umpire

Serena was getting her arse beat, coach told her to come to the net, she did. Umpire saw and gave her a warning. She continued to get her arse beat broke her racquet and yelled at the umpire and he gave her a game penalty

Unbelievable poor sportsmanship from the crowd at the trophy ceremony, booing.

This is Naomi's moment. She was going to win, despite the penalties.

Don't steal her moment.

They should call it on everyone. But the point is, Serena got the violation then just kept on melting down. That is not the umpires fault

Sounds like Serena deserved it. Glad she got beat, she is always running her mouth at the open, yelling at line judges and umps and such. Looks like she was going to lose in any case.

I know dick about tennis, but the coach was giving hand signals.

Whether it is premeditated hand signals or not doesn't really matter.

Coaches coach all the time. Doesn’t mean players listen. Or that she didn’t already know what to do. That rarely if ever gets called. It was ticky tack in a GS final. Serena was going to lose. Naomi was working her. But that just took away from what was an otherwise quality set.

He was and he admitted it. But of course Serena said it wasn't and tried to burn the umpire for it

In fairness, the crowd doesn't know what has happened yet.

They probably havent gotten the whole story.

She shouldn’t have got a game penalty but she for sure deserved the point penalty. Serena should have just taken the point penalty and moved on

I watch tennis plenty. They should call it more but she did get it called on her and it was only a first offense. She then continued to get warnings due to her shitty attitude and disrespect for the officials
