The crowds for these opening games have been pathetic, thousands of empty seats at the Michigan game yesterday in Detroit.
I like them both, the tournament is a bad way to crown a champion but it makes for an exciting three weeks. Makes up for the inferior product. I grew up on college basketball though so a lot of it is nostalgia.

Yeah, these refs are basically on full retard in every game. It seems worse this year than usual. But I like the volume of games in the NCAA tourney. There have been some good finishes.

College basketball is terrible to watch if you don't have a rooting interest. I can see why fans of shitty teams don't enjoy it.

"They haven't made a field goal in over 5 minutes" - shite I've heard at some point in probably every game I've watched.

The games yesterday mostly sucked. The games today have been good, aside from some inconsistent refereeing.
