What about last year or the year before?
quote:To make my point that every team in the NBA does it to some extent, and I assume you've seen a lot of the Pelicans games. The stakes are high and teams are looking for an edge.
Why do you keep bringing up the Pelicans?
As for the Clippers/Thunder series, no one has flopped more than Westbrook and I'd say it's not even close.

The Clippers got robbed.
So did OKC, Jackson should have been shooting FTs

I think Paul got fouled twice on the last 10 seconds, once by Westbrook and once by Jackson on the last play of the game.
Overall the Clips got screwed by some home cooking.

Are you telling me given the choice of
1) Jacskon going to the line with 6 seconds to go
2) OKC inbounding the ball with 6 to go
That the Clippers would pick option 1?

quote:Right. At best the Thunder tie the game. The clips then inbound with a chance to score. If they don't, the game goes to overtime.

You Cannot be serious
If you really believe that, why didn't they foul immediately after the inbound then?

Your opinion is skewed by hindsight. So many more things can go wrong with an inbound pass and shot than shooting free throws.
ETA: You see it all the time. Teams up by two and letting the other team run a play.

quote:Sure, it's all hindsight. Bottom line, the Clips got a rim-job from the refs on several blown calls or blown no-calls in the 47 seconds of the game.

If you truly think an NBA team would choose their opponent shooting free throws over an inbound pass with less than 10 seconds, then you are verifying yourself as a moron.

Sorry for hurting your feelings, but anyone that thinks that a team would choose free throws over an inbound pass there deserves to be called out.

quote:You didn't hurt my feelings. I'm just wondering why you think insulting someone makes your argument stronger. Make your point and let it stand on its own merits. At the end of the day, how we treat other people is infinitely more important than our opinions on the outcome of a basketball game.

I've watched every game and I can say that is a load of crap.
The clippers whole team have been up there in flopping this series. Now with Durant/Westbrook doing it as well, it is almost unbearable.

Bump for the other posters question to LA:

quote:Why didn't who foul? The play in question wasn't on an inbounds pass. The Clippers inbounded the ball and it was knocked away by Westbrook and recovered by Jackson, who then drove to the basket, losing the ball out of bounds.
If you really believe that, why didn't they foul immediately after the inbound then?
