I thought it was reported that Hayward wanted Utah to bring Hill back
I'm sure he wants the team as competitive as possible, I don't recall seeing that though. I think Hayward and Hill are gone regardless of this trade.

KAT is so good. They should be fun to watch provided Thibs doesn't kill them.

Rubio to Gobert lobs should be fun

Dunleavy wouldn't be a bad minimum kinda guy for HOU. I know they have tried to add him in the past.

Updated intel on Minnesota front: expectation from folks who would know is that Jeff Teague is heavy, heavy favorite with T-Wolves.

What are you guys' thoughts on Teague because I've really cooled off on him. He's really starting to become an average PG. To me, Hill would really fit Thibs philosophy

Possible Rondo landing spot: Minnesota. Rondo sort of Rubio Lite, but Thibs saw the best of him in Boston--and loves his swagger.

On top of the Rubio score and Utah's fight to hang onto Gordon Hayward, sources say RFA Joe Ingles has a growing market (including Orlando)

So Rondo are Thibs are cool, but what about Butler and Rondo?

We'll damn, Thibs just wants his old players back

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne Watch for Thibs/Minnesota on Derrick Rose now. Though don't expect him to give out his number like Jimmy ;)

If they get Rondo, they are going to have the same problems Chicago had -- no shooting and no floor spacing.
And I'm a Rondo fan. His BBIQ is ridiculous.

I have a feeling that Belushi is more useful right now than Rose, though.

So basically every free agent point guard wants to play for Minny now? Who wouldn't want to play with Butler, Wiggins and Towns? Makes your job a whole lot easier

Guess this Is re: Hayward

Thibs doesn't seem like a guy that would be truthful when something is awry with the team.

If he was that smart he wouldn't have quit in the middle of a playoff game b/c he was pissed that he couldn't do whatever the hell he wanted. Dallas was ready to throw him a massive deal when they traded for his stupid arse and he threw it away b/c he thought he knew better than one of the best coaches in the league.

Yeah Ainge needs to get off his butt if he really plans on making a splash.
I do like Patty Mills as a potential MIN fit

Saw they said Celtics were having trouble securing a visit with Griffin.

No one disputes that the guy is a stubborn a-hole. But I agree with the guy you quoted, the guy sees the floor like few people ever have. Probably one of the top 5 distributors in NBA history. Not saying he's a top 5 PG, but that single skill of his is amazing. Can't micromanage him and expect to get the best out of him.
Of course Carisle is a great coach himself. Rondo was just a bad fit for him.

There's actually a percentage of me that would take Rondo as player/coach over letting Gentry coach the Pels
