They should hope utah keeps winning. Playing an undefeated Utah in the pac 12 title game will help tremendously.

I do too, but I think that highlights the problems that still persist with the playoff committee. Teams are still going to benefit from losing early, when that shouldn't be the case IMO.

If they win out theyll have wins over usc, cal, oregon, nd, and presumably utah. Besides Utah none of those teams are great but like it or not names mean something. A 1 loss pac 12 champ is top 4 and that lost to northwestern on the road isnt a terrible loss.
