I am not rooting against them, but I'm definitely a lot more indifferent (and haven't watched yet this WC) when before I would at least put every match on TV for WCs
Women's soccer is barely worth my time as it is, so if they have players purposely choosing to be unpatriotic assholes then why make the effort

I disagree with SOME of what SOME of the players have said or done. Rapinoe in particular. But I also can appreciate that their ability to voice their opinion and have a debate is part of what makes America great, so it becomes easy for me to put it in perspective, compartmentalize my disagreement, and still enjoy rooting for the US team to kick everyone's arse. Most of the women on the team haven't said or done anything controversial at all.

I'm all for it, but go back to the WNBA. They're not getting paid as much because their sport doesn't nearly bring in the same revenue that the NBA does. In the workforce, no excuse. In professional sports, it's basic marketplace value.

It's basic economics. Revenue, profit, supply and demand, etc. They aren't paying the men more than women because of sexism.

They just barely edged out the men between 2016-18 (by about $1m) in money from the gate, but they played about 14 more home games than the men did during that stretch.
