Alabama doesn’t have those games bc they’re busy scheduling Mercer and all those weakass schools they schedule per year rendering their schedule even easier.

CFB is ruining itself.

It's a huge country...

Just invite every Conference Champ.

Invite the country to tune it rather than tune out.

This copy game is so weak.

If Ohio State's second loss were to a good school you would have an argument, but they got destroyed by Iowa. If you can't even take care of business against all the bad teams on your schedule, why should you be in the conversation?
OSU isn't being punished for playing more good teams and losing to them... Alabama and OSU both lost to a good team. OSU is being punished for the Iowa game very deservedly.

I totally agree here.

this whole season just seemed duller than usual. I don't know what it is but things just aren't as good as they use to be IMO.

Going 11-1 in the SEC West means something. Sorry.

Sec sucked this year.

Wisconsin went 12-0 regular season, deserved it over Bama

People sleep on Wisconsin, that was a DOMINATING ball control offensive unit matched with an almost equally dominant defense throughout 2017 probably my favorite style of play next to the offensive brand Mike Norvell and Scott Frost play in the American Athletic Conference or Lane Kiffin’s offense.

Tell me again how college football is greater than the NFL? It's always a shite show during selection Sunday

The B1G was the worst P5 conference this year. The SEC was at or near the top.

The committee is playing the long con and fans are focusing on the short term. 2016, 2017, their selections are just a means to an end. Two years in a row a deserving P5 conference champ gets left out. Two years in a row a blue blood gets left out.

This is all a set up for eventual expansion, sooner rather than later.

You realize that these two back to back statements directly contradict each other, right?

Well, most people who know college football disagree with you.

Ohio State got in last year and don't win their conference, sour grapes.

I don’t serve on the committee, but I bet they sort of want 1 loss team unless 2 loss team is a conference champ with no “bad” losses and some quality wins.

We made it to a win and in game, I have no heartburn with what they did. We need to get our program to a spot where our worst season is 10-3 instead of 7-6.

We will find out if Gus can get us to be a perennial contender. Media loves Alabama, but they are like 11-1,14-1,14-1,12-2,11-1,13-1,12-1,etc..

Saban has positioned them to always be near top 4. It’s a safe pick for committee. They won’t get smashed like Ohio State and Washington did last year or Michigan State and Oklahoma the year before. The committee won’t admit this, but Bama always competing until the end of money games gets them an audience. The bandwagon is huge. I hope our bandwagon grows exponentially because that means you’ve had sustained success.

This is true, and they have to fix this before next year.
