Only watched it a few times but this show already seems like an upgrade over hearing Stephen A. Smith screaming, Greeny breathlessly talking, or Ryan Clark providing his idiotic takes.

I've enjoyed the few episodes I've been able to watch. It's doing poorly in the ratings though. At least last I checked.

The networks keep trying, but podcasts generally do not rate well when they transition to TV. Even McAfee's ESPN rating aren't all that great. Different audience with different viewing/listening habits.

Most television shows are. It just shows how YouTube and podcasts are getting all the views these days and not traditional television shows.

I don't get how any of those shows do good in the ratings. Who the frick's watching TV at 9 AM during the week?

FS1 wants it for the cross platform and social media engagement, they very likely do not care about the ratings

I watch it a couple of times a week. I put it on at work and mostly listen in the background. I like the set up. It's not the style most ESPN shows try to pull with two guys having opposite take and arguing all the time.
They also rotate who is there each episode so other than T-Bob the other guests aren't the same everyday.

They had ESPN on this morning when I went to the barber and that clown was screaming about how Milwaukee should trade Giannis away. I asked if they could mute the TVs.

Sports talk podcast listeners listen in their car on the way to and from work. Daytime sports talk tv watchers don't have a job. Different demographic entirely.

Monday morning is the best day to watch. Dave Portnoy, Jon Gruden and Greg Olson are the regularly scheduled guests and they do a great job rehashing College and NFL. The other days are pretty much unknown barstool flunkies.

I've seen 5 min chunks several times while waiting for the Herd... and it's bad, just bad

It's ok. T-Bob is the best on there. It's amazing how little a couple of those guys know about sports, almost embarrassing. It's different than the early morning ESPN shows for sure. ESPN feels like you are watching the same show all day long and I am not an ESPN hater.
The show will really struggle when they don't have football to talk about.
